Projects

So we have been keeping busy with some projects around the house the past month or so with more to come in the near future. Our fridge went out and as much as we tried to keep from buying a new one it was pretty much inevitable. So instead of just waisting our money and getting a cheap one for now we decided to get one we really wanted since some day we will be replacing the rest of our appliances and updating our kitchen. Well we measured and measured and even took out the cabinets that were above our old fridge to make room for a taller one and when we thought we had the measurements right we went and bought our fridge. When we brought it home we learned real quick that it didn't fit. :( Mainly because our fridge has the 2 doors on top and one side wouldn't open so we had to knock out some of our wall to make it work.

Another project we have been working on is our yard. Well, that really is an on going project just because you have to take care of your yard all the time but in one section we had pavers down and we decided to tear them up and plant grass there instead. So we planted seed and it has taken a bit for anything to come up but last weekend we went camping (another post) and when we came back low and behold we had grass!!!! We are so excited because keeping Bam out is getting really hard so hopefully soon it will be good enough to walk on. :)


Now on to another project that will be keeping us (well mostly Mike) busy for the summer...

The basement! Yep we werent planning on working on it for awhile but since we have a baby on the way we need another room so that is what we will be working on and finishing no later than November.... Wish us good luck. :)
